Welcome to Murphree Valley Ranch!
We are Danny and Jeannie Cooley and we have been raising beautiful Boer Goats for two years now. Our herd has changed some, but we still have several of the original herd does. We gained our first Boer, Capricious Zig-Zag, in January 2007 and an entire herd (Buck included) in March 2007. We started then with hardly any pasture, fencing, only 1 LGD (Halyie), and 21 boer goats. It was a stressful process, but we survied. Snice then we have expanded pastures, sold, bought, birthed and lost a few boers and Jeannie has shed many tears.We are proud of our goats and we are constantly trying to improve them. We've made some errors in judgement and made some mistakes, but we've learned from them . Isn't that how life goes? We are still learning and have been very appreciative of al lthe help and information we hve received from the Boer Goat Community.
